The Victorian Curriculum and Assessment authority recognises excellence with the following awards:

The VCE Achiever Award recognises the efforts of students in the areas of community and school involvement, while completing their Victorian Certificate of Education.

The VCAL Achievement Award recognises the outstanding achievements of students completing the VCAL (Victorian certificate of Applied Learning Achievement).

The VCAA Plain English Speaking Award is given in Victoria, after which winners are invited to the national final.  This award recognises skill in oral communication, speech writing and research.

The Margaret Schofield Memorial Scholarship recognises achievement of outstanding government school students participating in VCE Music in the area of Solo Performance.
