Scholarship Tests

Tuition scholarships are offered by many schools.  While there can be many types of scholarships, including academic, music, sporting and general excellence, most will require students to sit an assessment examination to test for academic ability.

Some schools prefer to use their own test, but most opt for one of the following testing services.  The websites below list schools, and exam times and dates.  Always check with the individual school for information on which test is used for that particular year, and when the test will be administered.

Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) administers the ACER scholarship exam.  ACER provides information on these tests, and practice questions are available for purchase. http://www.acer.edu.au/index.html

Edutest offers educational assessment services for schools and parents.  Online practices tests are available for a fee. http://www.edutest.com.au/index.htm

Robert Allwell & Associates specialise in educational testing, including scholarship tests for independent schools. http://www.allwell.com.au/html/
