The Kids Alive website was created by Laurie Lawrence to combat drowning and teach safety in the water. The Kids Alive - Do the Five water safety program educates the public on five important steps to reduce the risk of preschool drowning.

Laurie Lawrence has also teamed up with the Australian Government to produce a comprehensive free water safety DVD for parents of children under five years of age.

“Sadly, since the year 2000, over three hundred children under five have drowned in Australia. I don’t want to see these devastating statistics climb any further,” said Laurie Lawrence.

The free DVD covers all aspects of water safety with an easy to view format broken down into developmental stages to outline specific water hazards as your child grows.
