In 2010, the Global Corporate Challenge® will not only continue to make an unprecedented impact upon the health and wellbeing of the corporate world, but the GCC will also improve the lives of thousands of school children through a new and very exciting pilot program that will be run.

The Global Children's Challenge™ is a health initiative to get children from all over the world active, and instil in them the habit of exercise, every day, for the rest of their lives.

Based on the principles of the GCC and reaching out to children early in their development, the Children's Challenge will engage school children at a classroom level, measure step counts from a pedometer and interact with a web based "virtual" walk around the globe.

This is a 50 day challenge taking place from September- November 2010.  Students participate through their schools.
